Day Programs
Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT)
Mondays from 9:30am to 3:00pm
Program duration: 8 weeks
This program aims to assist you in reinforcing helpful behaviors that will assist in adaptive coping towards emotions and thought processes. It aims to enhance your skills in coping with everyday life, and encourage maintenance of wellbeing.
Dealing with distress
Tuesdays from 9:30am to 3:00pm
Program duration: 12 weeks
This program is for patients who experience intense and uncontrollable emotions, or who struggle to cope with distress. It covers the core skills of dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), and it is appropriate for those who are interested in skills to help manage difficult emotions.
Dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT)
Tuesdays from 9:30am to 3:00pm
Program duration: 24 weeks
This program is for patients with intense unstable moods, difficulties in relationships, or who struggle to cope with distress. This may include patients who utilise self-harming as a coping strategy.
Building resilience
Thursdays from 10:00am to 1:00pm
Program duration: 8 weeks
This group is provided for patients as a space to explore relevant life themes that are applicable to everyday life. It provides supportive and ongoing group therapy that teaches psychoeducational skills and consolidation of previously learned skills.
Applied acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT)
Fridays from 9:30am to 3:00pm
Program duration: 6 weeks
This program is suitable for those who experience a wide range of psychological difficulties, from persistent worrying, feelings of 'stuckness' and chronic depression/anxiety. It is particularly suited to people who have tried other forms of therapy and found them to have had limited success.
Healthy body, healthy mind
Fridays from 9:00am to 12:00pm
Program duration: 8 weeks
This program is for anyone looking to improve their physical health and mental health by making positive changes to their lifestyle through exercise and education.
